Morning Dove, make mine a lemsip please! Gave work the choice and they said get well soon, see you Monday! May have to do a couple of hours garden work for someone later but I would never have lasted a full day! Been awake all night with temperature!

    Morning all.
I was thinking of moving some water lilies, but the pond is 6inches deeper because of the rain, which means I'd have to stick my arms 6 inches further into the freezing water .... might think again.

  • Oh dear Wonky! Get well soon 🤧

I'd give that a miss for today Hosta if I were you!
  • Keep away from the pond @Hostafan1 ... today is not the day for pond paddling 🙄

  • Morning all!  Hi @WonkyWomble - sorry about the lurgy!  Keep warm and get well soon.

Just waiting to be turned out of the lounge again... the plumbers are about to fix the wooden supports in the wall for the radiators.  Meanwhile, in the kitchen, we are waiting for the builder to buy a new bit of joining pipe for the sink waste, which cracked when the insulators tried to fit an extension to it - so I've put the plug in the sink so we don't get a flood in the cupboard.  And more builders are adjusting the shelves from the fitted wardrobe so they fit - they've cunningly run central heating pipes through the back of the wardrobes.  Currently the wardrobe contents are on the bed, where we've left them during the day covered with dust sheets, moving them to the floor so we can go to bed at night.  It's all good fun...   ;)
