@Fairygirl hasn't been here for a bit, miss her. But I've seen she's posted on some other threads so she must still be around.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • @Busy-Lizzie glad he got to Norfolk safely.

I heard from @Fairygirl the other day ... she’s fine 😊 ... just doing stuff. I’m sure she’ll be around more by the time there’s more gardening to be done. 👍

    home safe and sound.
A mixed day with waves of torrential rain, then calm ,then gale force winds and hail storms. Not too bad and didn't get too cold or wet.
    Devon.

That's good @Hostafan1. It actually stopped raining for a bit this afternoon so went for a quick walk - our local tiny brook was in full spate - the highest I've seen it for years.
We've since had a heavy squall during dinner so Dennis hasn't finished yet.

We now have hail battering the house, it sounds terrifying, just hoping nothing falls apart.

Sorry folks. I’m not sure how I did that.
I saw a long necked turtle trundling near the house, obviously lost, so Hubby took him down to the dam.

Good morning and G’day.  Lovely to see those pictures Pat - so glad you can post some good-news pictures after your awful few months.

Well, I’ve been awake ages as my work colleague messaged me as too scared to drive to work today (25 mile journey right into the red and amber warning zones). We have floods, road closures and still the wind and rain continue. It is serious around here - homes evacuated etc just 20 miles away. I totally support her to wait until the light and more information before she travels. We are dedicated to our patients, but nobody should have to risk a potentially dangerous journey so I support her to wait and see.

    Take care all.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
