I'm glad nobody was able to see my antics earlier.  We have a corner kitchen unit with "soft close magic" fitting - baskets which pull each other out so you have maximum storage with maximum accessibility.  It was fitted with the rest of the kitchen by the previous owners, and is very useful.  However, it's developed a loud CLANG when pushed closed.  I took out all the saucepans to make sure nothing was catching anywhere, then removed the baskets - still a CLANG.  But as the noise happens in the final half inch of the door closing, it's not possible to see what's going on from outside...

...so...  being distinctly short, stupid and bendy, I got a torch...  and shut myself in the cupboard...

...so now I know that the CLANG is coming from the soft-close mechanism.  But no idea how to cure it.  And I also know that I'll fit into the corner cupboard, should the need arise to stow myself away tidily...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Or did someone have to come and find you ?

Not something that I’m likely to be able to do ... I can walk into the pantry 😃  ... but I’ll never be bendy enough to fit into the kitchen units 🤣

    Good morning all 😊
The wind and rain of yesterday evening  has passed and we have a blue sky and sunshine.
Today promises tennis, making Ossobuco for supper and more work on the cardi I’m finishing 😊

    Morning all.
Grey outside. I'm going to the SM and the GC. Then I must finish my online photo album so that it's sent before I go to Norfolk. I'd forgotten about it and I only have until the end of the month to finish it.

    Hiya @Dovefromabove.

Stream levels are back to normal, but still large pockets of water in various parts of the garden. At least I won't have to worry about the bog garden for a few months.
We have more heavy rain forecast over next few days, so I have got to make sure the stream is clear of debris.

Grey and dull here and sporadically wet.  We're on the edge of a whole swathe of heavy rain pouring diagonally down from Devon and across France so get some dribbles.

When our kitchen carousel cupboard rattles @Liriodendron it's because Minstrel has gone exploring.  We have two and she can get from on to the other by squeezing behind the dishwasher.   Lovely.

No idea what to do with myself today.  Loads of projects on the go but none is calling.

I hope all Forkers are well.
