@Busy-Lizzie - it helps to give the compost and roots in the pot a thoroughly good soak and then I go down the sides between the pot and compost with an old bread knife, pushing it up and down all round the pot to loosen things. Water again and the root ball should be easier to extract. Works for me.
@Allotment Boy even when it was cold enough to now we didn't get a month's worth of precipitation in one day.

We had a frost! It's still clear skies apart from a few streaky bits of cloud but still chilly.
Weekly shop this morning then, maybe, fence building with our neighbour so his cows are safe from our dogs and our garden's safe from his cows. Depends when Luc is free but we'll end up with young mums and calves he wants to keep close by. Cute.
Looks like more rain is due in Forker land. Stay safe and dry everyone. Have you had any more @Pat E?

No rain here today, Obelixx. I’ve been cat sitting with my son’s gorgeous girl while Hubby and our son have been trying to find a replacement car for his hail damaged one. No luck after a full day of travelling far and wide though. 🙄
Dry & breezy here so far, might have a go at pruning the old Bramley apple tree in the garden. When the plumbers finally finish we will be busy putting the house back together.
