Hi Dove, I'm getting there.  Had some sort of a virus for 4 months now.  Have had chest x-rays and blood tests but not solved mystery yet.  Have to go for some lung function tests and more blood tests so hoping they'll find out the problem or I'll finally manage to shake it off.  I'm trying to get out and get some fresh air and exercise every day even though I don't really feel like it.  Just want the weather to improve a little.  Hope nobody has been flooded, I know that P'doc sometimes gets a bit of a problem.

Good to see you popping in again @Yviestevie and hope you recover fully and soon.  Best not to overdo things with viruses as they can come back and bite but maybe the lengthening days and increased light levels will help cheer you up.

Good to hear from you @Yviestevie I hope you are on the mend.

@Songbird-1, good to hear from you too. I hadn't realised your were Hazel!

I went to the SM, bought compost, rose fertiliser and veg, the GC didn't have anything much I wanted, all the weedkillers now are based on vinegar, everything is banned in France. Their compost and fertiliser was twice the price of the same ones in the SM and they didn't have microrhyzal fungi, so all I bought was a bag of red onion sets.

This afternoon I weeded two of the raised beds in the veg garden and added my own compost topped with bought compost. Will sow more broad beans and plant the onions. More than half the broad beans I sowed in the autumn have died but some have flowers.

You have been busy @Busy-lizzie, it's still too wet here to do much but I did take these photos yesterday, which I thought might cheer people up - Spring is coming, albeit slowly!

    Evening everyone.
Hi to @Yviestevie - hope things will improve for you.
Hope everyone is doing ok. I had a bit of a nothing day today. Really longing to get out in the garden but it’s too soggy and cold to attempt anything.

Off for an early night soon - have a few podcasts to catch up on or maybe a Luther (watching repeats on iPlayer).

  • Good morning all  😊  ☕️

I’m also glad you said who you were/are @Songbird-1 😄

It looks grey and still out there ... and dry here in Norfolk ... so far ...
