It wasn't too bad @raisingirl, presumably because it was a weekday. Westonbirt have also reduced the entrance fee, it's now only £7 per adult whereas I'm sure it used to be around £15-£17 each. It was actually the first time I'd ever walked in Silkwood (not having a dog!) but I liked it and they've got logs and stuff for children to play on in several places so will take the grandchildren soon.

Pdoc, that's a classic! I missed it today, was working without a radio, so thank you! 😊 I hope your floods are drying out and your wrapped in cotton wool and steaked to the ground for this weekend!

Hello everyone, sorry I've been AWOL so long! Working flat out!!
Only caught up a little, my thoughts have been very much with you and oh Pat, so relieved that rain has made it to you finally and an enormous THANKYOU on behalf of the planet for your husbands brave contribution to combating the spread of the fires.

Sending hugs to Hosta of course and lovely hub, been thinking of you two too! Hugs

Hope the Chicky family are having an experience of a lifetime! Looking forward to seeing GH completed!

BusyL, I hope you haven't had too much wind damage! Head wound infection sounds very painfully, best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Lirio, those Irish builders sound very productive!! Bet you can't wait until you have a garden not a builders yard!

Love to Dove obviously 😊 and Obelixx, Fairy, Lilyp if she's looking in, AuntyRach, raisingirl, allotmentboy and so many others but memory has blown a fuse!

Haha grit gets in eyes at these times Pdoc, must be the high winds!  ;)
Evening taxi Dove! That's very sociable! My OH has a cold and has given it to me...brother is locked in basement lol!
Glad to hear your healing quickly BusyL  :) and that the wind hasn't roughed you up too much! My pergola is most certainly as wonky as me now!! Fingers crossed for the next storm to give us all a miss!
Work with a cold tomorrow, fun! Off to bed! Night all  :)
