Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable

Morning PF. Well my little Lily has been a picky little princess from day one. If I allowed her, she would exist on cat treats. Turns her nose up at ANYTHING I attempt to try her with. The amount of cat foods I have donated to Jack and Kitty must run into hundreds of pounds worth. I cannot tell you how many times - making encouraging noises - I have received the " Well you don't think I'm going to eat THAT do you?" shriveller.

    Morning - it’s sleeting here - a sign of things to come😎❄️

Pansy - have you tried LC on those pouches of cat soup? They’re the beluga caviar in terms of grams of meat per pound spent - but cats know that and therefore think they’re yummy😬 Maybe he’s getting extra calories in the form of takeaways.

Chive - love the idea of your puss having a treat station. Who says you can’t train cats? Or maybe it’s them who’ve got us trained🤔

What’s everyone up to today in windy England. All the ski lifts and runs are closed due to the weather so OH is ‘at home’ and not on the slopes. Think we’re going to catch the bus into town and have a wander round and a spot of lunch.

Good morning all. Dry here but very breezy. Got a busy morning getting house straight then into Birmingham later, I bought my sister tickets to see Madame Butterfly for her birthday and it’s tonight. Planning a meal with our other halves then they will go for a drink while we attend the opera. Never been before and looking forward to it. What do I wear though? Any advice from you cultured Rezzers?

Chive I am keeping well thanks .I hope that you are ok .Morning TBird , I hope that you enjoy your day .Debs ,I love Madame  Butterfly ,that’s a lovely gift for your sister .If you haven’t been before you will need a large hankie,it’s a weepy .When we went to see it people wore mostly every day clothes , some were dressed up some were very dressed down . This was at the Grand Theatre in Leeds .unless there is a dress code where you are going ,I don’t think it matters .We went smart casual .

Morning all later Rezzerisers. T'Bird, tried Lily on the soups. She wouldn't even give them a desultory lick. Enjoy your wander in town. I do feel for your OH though as he was looking forward to hitting the slopes.
Debs just wear what you are comfortable in. As one who would need a general anaesthetic to go to an opera, that would be my advice.
I've had to cancel my friend's visit from Crewe, tonight's pub quiz, and my hairdresser's appointment and meet up with the Coniston crew tomorrow. I'm beginning to feel a bit like typhoid Mary but I do NOT want to pass on this horrible virus to anyone else. I'll just stay in, keep warm and order loads of plant type things.

Morning all.  I’ve just popped to doctors to pop in dads scrip and pick up a dispensed one from the chemist.  Debs hankies at the ready for Madame Butterfly.  The music is beautiful and an emotional journey.  Chive I always have to feed Alfie his dreamies/other treats on the dining table.  He always jumps up there and waits like your Nel.  LB I hope you’ll be well enough to visit your rellies at the weekend but best you didn’t travel.  It was lovely of fairy girl to go.  Pansy it’s not for the want of trying to make lc satisfied.  Alfie has the odd pouch but sometimes turns his nose up but we love to get them treats.  Hope lc’s eating better soon.

Jeans and a nice top it is then, hoping a night out will cheer my sister up as mom’s death has hit her very hard.
LB you are doing the right thing staying away from people wish everyone else was as thoughtful then viruses wouldn’t spread so easily.
My cats are not too fussy though Gatsby turned his nose up at smoked salmon trimmings on Sunday.
How nice that Fairygirl made the effort to attend the funeral.
