Hello Hazel and Chive.  I’ve not done jury duty Hazel.  Have a good day.  I’ll have to do the ******* today.

What a difference a day makes....

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

That is a stunning picture T'Bird. The pin point clarity of the mountain ridges against that gorgeous blue sky is spectacular.

Looks gorgeous Tbird, that curry sounds like an excellent plan! Well done to LB and Rubee gardening while lazy old me was having
    a facial and massage.
Heading off for my birthday mini break today, Powys in Wales for 4 days. Hoping weather is good tomorrow as that’s the big day and I have promised myself a trip to Lake Vyrnwy? for some bird watching.
Fridge and cupboards are full of food for my son who is now up to 10 stone 8 lbs.  He is able to pop stuff in microwave and make coffee etc and even take a very slow walk to the local shop and lots of people will be checking on him so I don’t feel too guilty leaving him.

    Afternoon!

Did my big SM run yesterday and I've done something to my shoulder carrying it back!

It has therefore been decided that from now on once a fortnight Bestie and I will walk to the SM, Do our shopping and her mum's shopping, split a taxi back to hers, (£1 each) and then she'll help me carry my shopping home. Good job we only live two streets apart!

Gorgeous picture TBird. I miss Germany so much.

Debs , a short break for your birthday ,how lovely . I hope that you have a great time .
What a  beautiful day it is here . The sun is shining and my sitting room is warm without the radiators being on . Hope that you all are having good weather .

Afties all. Its glorious here too Ruby. Sun shining (not too much warmth in it) but at least its very cheery looking outside. The robins have been very active today. I think its all been territorial displays so far. Even the birds seem to be happy today. I hope that they will not get blasted away with the threatened 80mph winds for this weekend. Debs, your short break sounds lovely. Your son will be fine too.
I have to 'fess up that massages and facials etc. are my idea of hell. My Bestie is always going and having stuff done. I know she loves it though but I'd rather be digging in my garden which is Bestie's idea of hell. Its a good job we are all different because the world would be unutterably boring otherwise
