    Good evening to all.
Despite weather forecast we have lovely day here on the sea. No wind, no rain and no clouds, it's just a bit chilly.
I have one more unpleasant obligation tomorrow. Father of one of my pupils died at Monday, and tomorrow is funeral.

LB, that's terrific news about your sister in law. Your hellebore is beautiful. I love the colour.

Lovely view from your motorhome T'Bird. So pure white.

More tea, Vicar? Where on earth did that comment come from (get researching PF unless you already know)?
Maybe Keeping up appearances, Hyacinth Bucket.

Thanks all, we are very relieved. T'Bird, strange though it may seem, despte the sniffles, runny nose and cough I haven't felt particularly ill. Getting in the garden was lovely although brief. I'm a bit concerned about the weather forecast coming up though. I hate it when my tiles are rattling on the roof. I hope that this doesn't mean you are going to have blizzard conditions in Garmische-Partenkirchen! Have you a shovel just in case you have to dig your way to the private bathroom?

Hello Ante. How very sad tomorrow will be - especially for your pupil. I hope it is not too sad for the family and that there may be lovely memories of a life that was special. I love the snobbery of that woman Ante, beautifully played by Patricia Routledge. I can just imagine her saying that - using her Royal Doulton china tea service, but I think that the saying goes back much further than 'Keeping up Appearances'

Hello there Chive. Gosh half term so close already. I'll bet you are all looking forward to having a little break.

I'm still full of cold Chive. I just cannot seem to shake it off at all. Just got to be a patient patient until it goes away

Chive you’ll be counting the days.  Have a relaxing evening.   I’m going to watch Silent Witness part two tonight.

Good evening all! LB good news about sister in law and glad you are starting to feel better. Top bird that place looks lovely. Everyone has been busy it seems.
The opera, not for me I don’t think, the lady playing the innocent 15year old butterfly was the wrong side of 40 and the dashing Pinkerton was short and stout! I suppose the voices should be the thing but frankly I didn’t love them! Subtitles were not too distracting but somehow it was just some people on a stage there was no credibility. I cry at EVERYTHING and was left dry eyed by the fate of Butterfly. Obviously I am not cultured. I always suspected it, never mind it was worth a try. I think my sister felt the same but it was a night out and a change.
