Must admit I find beef in general and steak in particular very boring and much prefer lamb, pork, chicken, guinea fowl, duck.   However that sounds like a good deal and I'd have bought some to slice up for some lovely spicy Chinese and Korean stir fries.

Have been to Cholet for a small crafty fair - patchwork, embroidery, boutis, appliqué, bit of knitting and crochet and jewelry.   Found some of the plain fabrics I needed to match patterned stuff for a workshop on Monday so am pleased with that.  Went with 4 pals from the patch club, 2 of whom are native to the wee town where we meet.  One used to have a crèperie by the port and will be making us waffles on Monday to celebrate Chandeleurs (French and Belgian pancake feasting day) which, before being hi-jacked by the Church, marked the half way point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.

Tired now so off to bed.   Sweet dreams all.
