And as you look not a day over 27 no one will believe you 🤣

:D  Photo please - to prove it! :)

Congratulations to both of you, in advance for @Hostafan1

The Christmas tree is now outside and the decorations are packed away. Pine needles swept. I usually shove the tree through the double window but the left one has stuck so I had to take it down the steps to the garden door which almost wasn't quite wide enough.

We are having a sherry before dinner, chicken tandoori and curried veg with rice.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

OH is still coughing and has a stuffed up head so we’ve decided it’s bedtime. We’re tucked up in bed with good books ... night night all ... sweet dreams 😴

We claim five generations in our family. Great Aunt  Sylvia is 104. My mum and two of her sisters are mid 80's. I have three great nephews and a great niece.   Another great nephew due end of February, and one of each expected March 5th by prebooked caesarian.  The brave expectant mother is a midwife, but the father is 6ft 9, and apparently the twins are 97 percentile , whatever that means, and have long legs.

We are home!  Heavy smoke everywhere, but temperature is down to 22, so a lovely change to the 49+ we have been experiencing.
Congrats on baby Dove. Quite a thrill. Hello to everyone. Catchup later.

That was supposed to be 40+ , not 49.

Glad the temperature is more reasonable @Pat E ... hope it stays that way.

I’m awake cos the phone rang ... son is working through the night taking up the comms wiring at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. He must’ve accidentally pressed ‘redial last number’    ... I shot down the stairs and answered it ... I could hear him talking with a colleague but he had no idea he’d rung me
    at 2am.
     I’ve sent him a text.
Of course we’re wide awake now ... I’ve made us a warm drink while we try to scrape ourselves off the ceiling.  🙄
