Whoops! After telling you that Perth looked ok, Dove, now there’s a report of a major blaze south of Perth (1.30pm).  That’s all I know.

Up and about well before sparrows this morning.
Surgery this morning for Hubby. Bye bye "bag" and that's the cancer treatment officially over.

    Good morning all  :) ☕️

A day to celebrate indeed @Hostafan1 🥂 We’re so happy for you both xx

Oh dear @Pat E ... let’s hope it doesn’t interfere with our NDNs’ daughter’s wedding.  Her father seems as excited about the chance to visit Perth Zoo and see his favourites, the crocodiles, as he does about the wedding 😉

No further news yet Dove. Weve been focussed on our area. Watching the weather news. Would really like some rain from the Port Hedland cyclone.

    Morning all.
That’s bad news, Pat. A good friend’s 2 daughters live in Perth. When will the fires ever stop?

I hope all goes well for @Hostafan1's hubby.

My cousins live in Perth, must write to her hope they’re all ok.  It’s very hot there at the moment.

We too have friends in Perth as well as Melbourne, Sydney and Queenbeyan.  Worrying times for all of them.

I have sinuses today.  Not impressed.   Chin up to everyone with serious lurgies and conditions.

Mild here today after a wet and wild night.  Going to be cold tomorrow tho.

Another chap is coming today to give us a price for the fence repairs. I wasn’t overly impressed with the business-style of the first one ... a text with a price but no details of work to be carried out isn’t really acceptable. 😒

Yes folks, Perth has been hit by a fire in one of the suburbs, but the news channel didn’t say which. Everyone seems to be in the same boat. 😡 This drought has been very bad. Everyone is really hoping for it end to it.  We got to 36 degrees here today.

    Sounds nasty.

The fencing chap has been ... much more business-like and seems more reliable. He said he’ll email a detailed price over the next few days. 👍
