OH has just come back from his appointment at an NHS therapy clinic who he hoped, and his GP said, were going to refer him to a consultant surgeon for his hip. He is furious. He has a card from them where the appointment is clearly written for 11am. They told him he has missed the appointment as it was for 10am. He showed them the card and they said they had made a mistake and he would have to make another appointment. They couldn't do it as it has to be done on the phone.
Methinks most of us would be furious too. Hope he gets another one very soon.

He's rung them, they've apologised and he has another appointment for tomorrow. So I think we'll go to Little Women today instead.

    He has a good nurse 😉 🤗
I’m sure he’ll feel much more comfy at home and that’ll help his progress ... and it seems as if your GP practice is pretty on the ball so you’ll have back up. Lots of love to you both xx

He has to have the district nurse to come daily " for a couple of weeks" to change "packing" ( too vile to explain )

    Afternoon folks.

Awful rain and very windy here. I’m off this week so done one of the jobs on my list - tidy the spare room (aka craft room and study). I have never done any craft in it (just a store) nor study in it (just a dump for books and files) as I always bring whatever I’m working on down to the table as better light and nearer the kettle!

Great news for Hosta and hubby - back on nursing duties?

Take care are you lot, with all the weathers and ailments to content with.

Ps. that appointment mistake is poor - I would be seriously annoyed. I expect there was at least one person who didn’t turn up for their appointment today, and they could have slotted him in. Bit mean.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
