Seems odd to me too @Hostafan1.  Has anyone mentioned foods to avoid?  Caffeine, fatty, soft drinks, chocolate, tomatoes, red meat..........

@Dovefromabove he probably works on a 24 hour clock and if she said 3 o'clock he'd automatically think am - unless he's still doing bells which always seemed to me as hard to get to grips with as monks with their matins and vespers.

More squalls here with heavy hail this time.   Lovely.

Missed your news earlier Hosta (was typing for ages) - I hope those tablets will settle it down. Avoiding surgery (and anaesthetic) is always a plus.

Just spent an hour sorting my office letters/admin pile. Just 3 boxes of work stuff to go now (it won’t be happening today).

Trying to get all cats and people into the kitchen now so we can shut the doors and settle in for the evening as going to be cold tonight. Cats in some sort of ‘mood’ though 🙄

You’re probably spot on @Obelixx ... and his wife probably let him carry on thinking it.
    @Hostafan1 ... 🤔 I thought they’d found a load of stones in your gallbladder?

  • @Hostafan1 I agree always good to avoid surgery IF that is the right answer, fingers crossed.
Odd day today we kept putting off going for a walk as the storm clouds kept rolling in but it didn't actually rain in the end. I bailed out the  patio pond which was overflowing. We finally went for a short walk just round the local estate, good to get out anyway. On the plus side Lamb & lots of veg  for dinner.

Oh dear!  Now there are floods in Australia! Hope @Pat E is ok ... at least her dams should be filling up.

Beautiful frosty morning out there.  Will let it thaw a bit and then go out to play - some trellis panels have come loose in the gales, and some cutting back to get on with.  Trying to get ahead as we will be down under for most of February (.......so excited, counting the days 😜).

Littlest chicklet has a milestone birthday coming up, so spent a fun few hours yesterday collecting photos of her over the years ...so many happy memories all in one sitting, brought a big lump of happiness to my throat 😂😢🙄🤣

Greenhouse base really coming together now, and a dry week forecast, so hoping they will make great strides this week

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  And hope the pills alleviate your troubles @Hostafan1.  Nice to avoid surgery if you can 🤞🏻

    Morning all.
    Frosty here too.
Thanks for the kind thoughts folks. Always appreciated.
Gall stones aren't a problem per sé  so long as they stay in the gall bladder, only when they go walkabouts.
I'm happy to take the tablets for the 8 weeks and see what happens. I've just an outpatients appointment for April 16th so I guess they'll look at the situation then.

    Hi all

Sunny and frosty here, but still in bed eating toasted tea cakes.
