They sound good presents, @Lizzie27, I'd love a sentry shed. OH gave me a Kenwood food processor, what I wanted. Old one had gone very brittle, very old.

Morning everyone. I haven’t been in for a couple of days. Didn’t feel too well. I think the smoke haze is getting to me.Ā
Re. Rain, Dove, we haven’t received it yet, but the weather bureau keeps promising. Hopefully in the next day or two. Lots of rain in southern Qld and northern NSW, but only getting towards Sydney so far.Ā

Must take this opportunity to read back. šŸ˜’

You all sound very busy and motivated to get things done. It makes me feel lazy. We are both fed up with being trapped inside because of the Ā bushfire smoke.Ā

I was speaking to one of my Ukelele friends yesterday when we went to town to enrol for this year’s U3A classes. I was complaining about all the sheets and other bedding that I want to get out onto the line but can’t until the smoke goes. Don’t want the linen press smelling of smoke. She reminded me that I need to wash all the outside lines before pegging anything on them. They are black with soot from the fires. 🤬Just as well she reminded me. Not that I’ll be doing any yet.Ā

The classes start again this week, but I’m not sure I feel like playing the Ike.Ā

Playing the Uke. Darned spell checker beat me again. I haven’t practiced for months with all the stress etc with Hubby having medical probs and now the fires. I’ve probably forgotten which chords are which.

I cant think what other things we’ve been up to, so will get back to laundry and colouring.Ā
Lovely to read all your doings.Ā
Ps. Chicky those photos would make lovely jigsaws. hint, hint. 😁

Oh dear @Pat E ... from the news i heard it sounded as if your area had rain. Sorry to hear your OH has some problems too as well as the effects of the smoke on both of you.Ā
It’s a clear frosty night here and the gritting lorry had just gone up and down the road ... we live near the end of a cul de sac so our road gets done really well.Ā

Good luck with the gritting, Dove. Anything to help.Ā
We’ve got our fingers crossed - can hear a bit of thunder not too far away. I hope there’s not too much lightning to go with it, as it could start more fires. šŸ™„

Morning all, lovely day out there with the frost glinting in the sunshine. I'm guessing Chicky's photos are of Frensham Ponds, love the mini-murmuration reflected in the pond.

Hands tender this morning from clearing more of the bank yesterday with added lacerations from brambles. Those things always manage to find the weak spot in gloves >:)

It was panto night last night ( Oh no it wasn't, Oh yes it was!). Been going on the last night for years and it is always fun but last night was the best ever.Ā  Glad I wasn't a parent trying to explain to children why all the adults were laughing so much.
