Have a very lovely birthday Lyn 🎈 🥂

Its Wonky's lovely hub’s car that’s died ... they have to have one each as he can’t cycle to work because of his Sickle Cell condition.

Good to hear of some rain in Queensland @chicky ... hope there’s lots more very soon.

I hate this cough ... it’s wearing me out 😖

Thank you Dove,  sorry speed read the posts, still impacts on them both though, they both work so hard.  🙂

Good luck to @WonkyWomble.  Even for retired people if you're a 2 car couple going down to one can be very difficult and limiting when there's no public transport alternative.   Our replacement for Harry, deceased end of September, arrived on Friday
    thank goodness.

Have a lovely day @Lyn.   Hope you get some sunshine too.

It is very grey and dull here after a clear, bright, moonlit night.   Mild tho so not all bad.

Hope your hubby is doing well @Hostafan1 and that you are brightening up @punkdoc.   Days are quietly getting longer which should help.  A little break sounds just the ticket @Dovefromabove

    Happy Birthday @Lyn
Weather here is truly foul @Hostafan1, lawn covered in puddles. Love to Garry from us too.

@Dovefromabove , hope your cough disappears soon, it's rotten when it drags on and on.  Regarding Wonky's hub's car, would it be worth enquiring if he is eligible under the Motobility scheme?
Keeping fingers crossed for you @Pat E , a trip away sounds a very good idea.

Good idea @Lizzie27 but not a chance ... his condition is bad enough to impact on his life, but not enough to count as a disability. 🙄

It’s hard on all the wildlife Lyn, it’s just the media emphasising the cute ones. Our roos and wallabies are very short of water as well as grass and leaves, but we keep bowls available for them. 😃. I hate seeing the destruction too. It’s amazing how much has been burnt.

Thank you thank you all for birthday greetings, it’s a nice sunny day here, we’re going to take a huge pot of reed out of the pond for thinning, it’s half filled the pond now!
I know it’s too late and we may find some hibernating frogs and newts but we will be careful and make as less disturbance as possible.
