Morning 😀. Had a good day volunteering yesterday - clearing their grass borders.  Very satisfying 😀. I like a job where you can see where you’ve been 😇

Some Pilates this morning, a meeting to sort out garden club speakers for 2021,and then book club tonight ......busy busy 😜

Thinking of you @Pat E .....this summer must feel relentless ☹️

Good morning everyone.    Very wet and windy out there.   Took ages to dry the dogs and they only went out for a pee.

There's no excuse for such stupidity @Busy-Lizzie.  I'd complain loudly and in writing to everyone in sight.  Shameful.

Glad you had a good day yesterday @chicky.   I find it doesn't take long for retirees to get busy and wonder how they ever found time to go to work.

I left OH home alone yesterday while I was out at sewing/patch group and mosaic.  Expensive.  He's found a lawnmower he wants to buy for a mere 700€.   Serious talks needed about my new wildflower meadow before that makes an appearance!

Hope all lurgies are clearing up.   Hugs to all who need it cos they're feeling blue or poorly.

I can well imagine @Pat E.  You need some distraction/displacement activities.   Have you done any colouring lately, or knitting?  Might help.

Hi Obelixx. Yes I’ve done lots of colouring.
Little drives around the back area of our place and drives into town for variety. Doesn’t quite do it though. We are both well and truly over our summer. 🙄

    Good morning .
Late on parade . Both patient and nurse had good sleep last night, mercifully.
Laundry duties call. Mehinks there's  going to be a lot of that !!

    Hey everyone.
It’s a rainy day so I’ll get the oven on and do a cake,  a cottage pie and maybe a casserole. I might binge-watch some Escape To The Country then.
Have a decent day all. Well done Staff Nurse Hosta.

I feel so relieved! The "man who can" has been and says he can do the kitchen floor on Friday as he's between jobs that day and his estimate is very reasonable. He's local and has a van with his business name on it so I hope he's OK. Seemed nice.
Also the nice tree cutting man who did the Leylandii next door can come on Monday and attack our 2 overgrown laurels.

OH is being referred to a surgeon with a view to a hip replacement. So, hopefully, that will be sorted in the next year or two, don't know how long the waiting list is. But it's better knowing that something will be done rather than being fobbed off with physio courses etc.

Kitchen and trees sound good and good news for OH but would he not have less of a wait in France @Busy-Lizzie?
