Dropped a somewhat distressed  Hubby at hospital at 7.30am just as his colorectal nurse arrived which put him more at ease and as I said goodbye to her, I turned to leave and his surgeon was there. She's confirmed he's first on her list today .
Just waiting now to hear it's all done and dusted.

    That's good news @Hostafan1

We went to Sainsburys, I spent ages looking at food. OH bought my Christmas present, a Kenwood food processor. Also went to B&Q, bought a water butt for the side of the shed.

Our lovely neighbour was redoing his fence, shed backs onto his garden. He noticed that it hadn't got a drainpipe and the back was a bit damp so he's put on a drainpipe and told me to buy a water butt as he has the spare bits of pipe to run into it. He also repaired a bit of the small older shed's roof as he noticed it was faulty. He used to be a carpenter. They are a sweet couple, we are lucky.

There are daffodils and lots of other bulbs that I bought last autumn popping up all over the garden.

    Evening all.

I am so pleased for you and your hubby, Hosta - I hope the recovery is swift and comfy.

I spotted the moon earlier, but it is too cloudy to appreciate any eclipse, unfortunately.

I hope you are all doing ok this Friday night.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
