    Slowly slowly Dove and fed up with the smoke haze. Hubby has been out all day on the Fire Truck helping to put water on the areas still smouldering. 🙄

    Morning all.
    OH is off to Norfolk this afternoon. When we heard of the French General Strike on Thursday he bought himself a ticket for an earlier plane. He has doctor's appointments and the heating service etc so has to get back. I'm hoping to go on Thursday, housesitter for the horses is arranged. Flight won't be on strike, not Air France, but the air traffic controllers may be.

    Small problems compared with Pat's and the cliffs falling in the sea.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Exhausting day yesterday after a bad sleep so have slept late today and then had a potter.  It's dull and grey and a bit drismal out there today.   Last of 3 knee injections today and then 3 days' rest and then, maybe, I can start on gentle walkies and some gardening.  Plenty of sewing to do meantime.  More Possum clothes.

    Glad you're still safe @Pat E and hope your OH is not over exerting himself tho I understand his urge to help make things safe for others.

    Hope you get your flights OK @Busy-Lizzie and that your Norfolk cottage is nowhere near that coastline!

    The cottage is about an hour from the sea @Obelixx I hope the knee injections work well.
