I saw that! I was going to circulate this in work, as we’ve had quite a bit of sickness, but thought better of it. Fascinating if true.

    Good morning all  :) ☕️
    Hope you’ve all slept well.

I slept a bit better last night ... I put it down to the shot from the bottle of homemade sloe gin dated 2004 that I found in the garage ... mixed with a splash of boiling water it was a soothing bedtime noggin and I didn’t cough for several hours (I did have a very odd dream tho’ 😯).

Good morning @Dovefromabove!  Maybe everyone is having a weekend lie-in...

Hope the coughing is abating.  How big is your supply of old sloe gin?   ;)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Hi all

Not been around much, combination of winter blues and illness, hope to be turning a corner soon, just hope there isn't another brick wall around the next corner.
Happy New Year to all fellow forkers.
Special good wishes to @Pat E, hope things over there start to improve soon.
How can you lie there and think of England

Good to see you @punkdoc......hope that corner comes very soon 🤞🏻

Glad to hear Mr Hosta’s op went well ......must be a relief to put it all behind you 👍🏻

And pleased to hear the sloe gin hit the spot @Dovefromabove 🤣

We’ve had a fun morning ......Chicklet needed to catch an early train.  I got up 10 minutes before we were due to leave (on taxi duty) only to find she had overslept.  She has now demonstrated that, with adrenaline pumping, she can get out of the house in 7 minutes flat.  And that includes a shower.  Train successfully caught .....think she is now recovering 😂

And the builders are here bricklaying.  Must have a problem with one of their Bits of equipment as they have currently tripped our circuits 3 times.  We now have a house full of flashing clocks .....I’m not going to bother resetting them just yet 🙄

Had planned a day cutting back borders, but its mizzly drizzly out there, so I’m going to curl up with a magazine instead 😇

    Good morning @Liriodendron 😊
Good to see you @punkdoc 😊
It was a full bottle I found Liri ... I can remember putting it away to mature 🤭... think I’m going to patent it as a cure-all ... perhaps I should send a few shots up to Pdoc  🍷
It must be worth a try 😉
Nothing ventured ... etc etc etc

Ive just given the bathroom a bit of a clean and wipe over ... and of course that’s started me coughing again 🙄
OH is giving the fridge a sort out and throwing out stuff more than two years past it’s Best Before Date ... apparently his decision is final 😶
