It's very mild and fairly bright out there today so I ought to be feeling cheery but not feeling that good myself this morning - sluggish and headache - which I assume is down to lack of usual exercise because of the knee.  Might just try that tonc without the cayenne and then, depending on effect, go and plant garlic or go and sew in my snug sewing room.

    Knitting would not relax me!

  • Golly gosh @Obelixx ... that is delicious ... it could become my cocktail of choice LOL ... even if it doesn't do any good it's very tasty and will perk me up a bit ... cheers!

It's really good @Hazel-1    I've just made a batch with fresh grated ginger and no cayenne as I don't have a cold or any cayenne.   I've got espelette, chipotle, Kashmiri and others but no plain cayenne.

Right then.  Enough faffing.  I have sewing homework to do.

Hello all and hello and welcome to @Hazel-1

Grey and drizzly outside. This afternoon I'm going to help a friend with her craft stall at a village hall Christmas bazaar.

Now I must going and feed the birds.

  • @Hazel-1 😊 everyone is welcome on this thread (we’ll talk to anyone 😉 😂).
Just pop in and out as you feel like it ... no rules other than friendliness. 😊

Blimey - I leave you alone for a few hours and you're all mewling and puking and snottering everywhere.
Manky bunch....keep it to yourselves :D
That sounds a good remedy @Obelixx. I've not had need of any medication this year - so far. Fingers crossed.
I've been bone idle today so far apart from running in and out to feed birds, and doing some h****work. P*ssing down. Think the wind's to get up again later too. Wonder if I'll have to rescue the bench cover again.
It has one loop for one corner - what good is that? Who designs these things, and do they not know it gets windy now and again in this country? Grrr.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Afternoon. Hope all all poorlies are warm and cosy. I recommend a vitamin shot of: orange juice, carrot juice, ginger, lemon and a fizzy vitamin tablet - great for colds, low energy and hangovers.

I know I said no SM shopping on the weekends in December, but needed to pop for milk and stuff for Nachos tonight. There was NO milk!! Well, actually just a couple of bottles of blue-top filtered milk for kids ... it had to do! Not a fan of blue top in tea but will be nice for the porridge and lattes.
