Good morning all 🤧 ☕️ I’ll try not to spread my germs 🤒 I didn’t go to tennis yesterday as I was coughing and sneezing and I didn’t want to spread any germs as there’s someone there who doesn’t need to catch a cold. I was right ... this has turned into a yucky sore throat, gunky head and a bit of a temperature. 😷 Hope I haven’t already given it to any of you lot ... my ears are sore too 😪

Oh dear @Dovefromabove ....the winter lurgies have arrived 🤧🤒
Jimi Blake talk was great last night. He has created a beautiful garden, but the key message was how often he changes things - whole borders get dug out and started again to keep things fresh. Not sure I could do that - my hoarder instincts would take over. Also great use of signature plants through a scheme to bind it all together. And a really personable guy. Hunting Brook in Wicklow looks well worth a visit @Liriodendron - although might be a bit of a trek for you. His sister’s garden next door is also open, and also beautiful, but in a completely different way.
And that’s the escapism over for me, today is all about Dad/consultant appointments ☹️
Thinking of you and your dad today @chicky ((hugs)) xx
Interesting about the talk ... I know that our Shady Bank needs a total rethink 🤔
OH has supplied coffee and paracetamol... I’ve told him @AuntyRach has prescribed honey and hot lemon 🍯 🍋 and it will be provided. He will cycle down to Wrose to get tins of soup for lunch and will assemble a kedgeree for supper. I have loaded the washing machine and have been sent to the sofa 🛋
Hows everyone else today? How are your innards @Hostafan1 ... or have you gone to work? Thursday is your busy day isn’t it?

Morning all, no work for me today. I've still got my poorly tum tum. Less painful than yesterday , much helped by the first good sleep in a week. The nurse practitioner has called this morning to let me know the blood results didn't come back yesterday so she'll call me when they arrive this morning. The more I hear about gall bladders, the more I consider them yet another design fault.
@chicky , I'm with " yer man " I'd happily dig up everything and start again if I the the money to do it.
That's good @Hostafan1 but I'm sorry you're still feeling carp. If it's any consolation my former manager had her gall bladder whipped out after a period of feeling totally sh*t and never looked back ... her health improved hugely

I've heard 4 people say the same thing in the last 24 hours.
Hi all. I have the lurgy too, so will be spending day in bed. Moira had her gall bladder out earlier this year and she was transformed by the operation. The ultrasound will confirm one way or the other @Hostafan1 Good luck today @chicky
