Hi @Pat E- they were saying yesterday it'll be into next year before they get a handle on those fires. Dreadful. All that travelling and hanging around is very tiring. You'll be glad to get back to some normality when you get home. I put some more pix on the jigsaw site if you need something to do while you wait.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning all - hi Pat, horrible news about your fires. Hi Wonky!
Sorry to hear about the lurgs - get better soon, Dove & Punkdoc! Glad the docs have found the cause of your pain, Hosta; hope it's soon sorted.
Windy here, but we expect worse soon... hatches are battened. Meanwhile, the builders are here - yes, on a Sunday - laying blocks for our extension walls. They're already up to windowsill height, and are talking about having the roof on by Christmas... so all preconceptions about Irish builders have been banished.
I’m packing up for the night. Early start tomorrow. Thankfully, our daughter is doing the driving so we don’t need to worry about a parking place at the Dr. night all.
Twice in one day.....I know, slow down Wonky!! Lovely to hear from you all!missed you lot! Fairy, glad your pot had a soft landing! 😁 Dove, sounds like your still feeling grotty and snotty, Hosta got bad tummy? What are you two like!! Quarantine for the pair of you! Lizzie27, your pace of horizontal sounds heaven!! I'm no good at relaxing but I love the idea of it! Hello Pat, I've been watching the news and wondering how you were both faring, best wishes to you both Hi Obelixx, you always sound busy! Good your feeling better with so much to do but think your right to stick to indoor jobs!! Lirio, those Irish builders sound amazing!! I'm looking forward to seeing how your new garden will shape up! Greetings Chicky, BusyL, Pdoc......well everyone!!! I've had a productive day! Done the food shop and animal supply shop, made a bacon and mushroom quiche and a salmon and broccoli quiche, prepped roast chicken for later, washed it all up and made a wreath for the door. Even hubby said it made him feel festive!
