Morning all. Thank you for your sympathy.
    Raining here, again.
    Good luck @punkdoc

I think Banksy's art is brilliant and even better that it conveys a message. The type of wall he paints on is enhanced by the paintings IMHO.

I hope your cold is better soon Dove.

  • Thank you @Busy-Lizzie ((hug))

And Banksy is a West Country man too

Bright blue skies and sunshine here in Norfolk ... but very wet underfoot (from what OH says ... I'm not allowed out).

Don't get me wrong, I love his work but on a purely legal, technical front, it is vandalism, inasmuch as he doesn't own the property , nor ( we assume ) does he have the owners' permission to paint on it.

Don't think the wall owners mind lol... they all seem to employ guards to watch over the work and then manage to sell it ... those with morals make a donation to help whatever need the work is highlighting.  Think Banksy researches the site and often manages to pick a property where the owner will do the ethical thing.

Living on soup and blancmange today then  ;)

  • @Hostafan1 try Bocasan, or if you cant get that then Corsodyl or it's unbranded equivalent. Taste horrible (so you know it's good for you) very good for stopping infection!

I'm feeling sad today too, my beloved favourite aunt died yesterday - she would have been 86 on Saturday, my mum's only sister. It's only five weeks since her husband died. Seems another trip to Cleethorpes will be necessary. Not good over Christmas.
Sympathies @ Hostafan, @Dovefromabove , @Busy-Lizzie and @punkdoc. Also anybody else suffering or grief stricken.

The smoke doesn't sound good so near your house @Pat E, take care.
