Hello everyone.  No doubt we'll come to terms with this mess eventually...  there will be more important stuff to address than Br***t, I suspect, before the 5 years are up...

Someone sent me this quote from John Wesley, the 18th century Methodist preacher:

"I met those... who had votes in the ensuing election, and advised them
    1) To vote, without fee or reward, for the person they judged most worthy
    2) To speak no evil of the person they voted against, and
    3) To take care their spirits were not sharpened against those that voted on the other side."

    Nothing changes...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I've got an appointment with " General Surgical Emergency Clinic" on Monday morning.
About time too, this has been going on for quite a while, 2 years, more?

To be fair, I've not had " an episode " since Dec 24th 2017. Only flared up again last week.

  • Oh well -we bought our Christmas tree from the farm up the road he only charged us the same as we have been paying for the last 3-4 years. Not everyone in the country has turned into a greed money grabbing so & so yet. Lets see what the next 5 years brings.

Morning everyone. Hope you all had a good sleep.
It’s still a bit smoky here, but not as thick as it was.
I’ve been wondering if anyone has heard from LilyP. I know she wasn’t well and that they were thinking of a trip to Oz sometime, but I can’t remember.
Youll be glad to see Chicklet, Chicky.

  • Hello @Pat E and good morning the rest of you when you arrive 😊 ☕️

Glad the smoke is a bit less. It must be horrid and more than a bit scary.

Ive had a much better night’s sleep thanks 😊 not too much coughing and I’m beginning to feel a bit less clogged up and yukky. I might even pop down the road to the shops later on.

We were saying some time back that no one seems to have heard from @Lily Pilly for quite a while ... she wasn’t feeling at all well ... hope she’s ok now. She’s often in my thoughts.
