    Getting the house decorated today - will play Christmas songs and create our own happy bubble. And only 4 more sleeps til littlest chicklet is home for the holidays 😍 🥳😝

    The French wind was blowing in sympathy, woke us up before dawn, howling.
    Now Brexit will be a certainty which will affect OH and me  :'( but that is a small concern compared with what @Hostafan1 said earlier about a bigger divide between rich and poor. I just hope the NHS is OK and the Tories haven't got too used to austerity.

    The English theologian and historian Thomas Fuller appears to be the first person to commit the notion that 'the darkest hour is just before the dawn' to print. His religious travelogue A Pisgah-Sight Of Palestine And The Confines Thereof, 1650, contains this view: It is always darkest just before the Day dawneth.
