I could offer you a couple of youngsters @Hostafan1, but they're both working irregular hours so it might be tricky I think you can get a lead for it. I'm sure I have one, but I can never be bothered doing it. I've just watched a big craw stuffing his face in the garden. Quite unusual, but the ground's not properly defrosted for a day or two, so I expect he's finding it tricky to get anything. My expensive mealworms [ ] are making it easy for him to get some breakfast.

I started watching Gold Digger the other day @Busy-Lizzie. I don't normally watch things all at one go. I know it's the 'fashion' to binge watch, but I quite like waiting for the next episode

Hello folks 😊 I’m back ☕️ ☕️ ☕️ Nurse was pleased with my BP 😯 how did that happen??? 😇 😃 Should get my thyroxine and cholesterol results in about a week. I struggle to keep my cholesterol levels down ... I may have to give in and try statins ... I’m a bit loath as I have enough muscle pain as it is without risking triggering more, but maybe I should give it a try
I called in at Wrose in the way back ... read the paper, had a coffee and grabbed a few provisions.
Its a lovely bright morning ... just the right sort of day for zooming over the East Anglian countryside in military aircraft ✈️ 🙄 Don't suppose they’ll be doing it for long.
I’m glad we covered the car windscreen last night ... the frost was very sharp in the front garden ... hardly anything in the back garden as the fences prevent the chilly air rolling down the rise and forming a frost pocket.
Right, let’s see what’s been going on here ☕️

That's good @Dovefromabove. You do know about avocado and oats and beetroot and pulses and nuts for lowering cholesterol. Works for me - so far.
I couldn't get on with Guilty either @Busy-Lizzie tho I do like the main actors. @Hostafan1 we only ever watch stuff on TV thru the PC when Possum is home and goes Netflix on us. Otherwise there's plenty on for me but maybe not if I was also in nursing mode.
It is sunny but chilly out there so we'll see how the temperatures are doing after lunch and maybe get some trees planted including an @Liriodendron. Meanwhile, pottering indoors will keep me out of trouble for a while.
Stay safe and warm everyone, whatever you're doing and hugs to any who need one to warm up or cheer up.

been to Docs' for more bloods to be taken, which is becoming tricky as veins are getting knackered. Hospital later for injection. Might hit the polytunnel for a wee while after making the patient a nice cuppa and toast him a pancake
Good luck with that @Hostafan1. The hospital, rather than the toasting pancake etc There's a chap asking for advice on agapanthus if you fancy chipping in, although I think he's got enough to go on for now. The thread is called John Shardlow.
I wish the mods would sort that out properly, re the thread naming. I asked before, but it seems to have had no effect. It's poorly laid out, and doesn't make it clear to new posters how to to fill it in. It's brightened a bit here although still below zero, so I think I'll venture out for a walk. Better defrost the birds' water sources first...again....

Yes @Obelixx ... those are all a regular part of my diet ... my problem is familial elevated cholesterol levels coupled with the under-active thyroid which pushes cholesterol up, exacerbated by the need to keep dietary calcium levels up due to taking levothyroxine coupled with my body’s inability to tolerate calcium supplements ... a ‘perfect storm’ really. Not helped by difficulty exercising due to recurring joint problems. I blame a design fault 🙄

I know I can feed my tv via the laptop, but can't remember how. I need to find a young person
Old(er) person here - you will probably need an HDMI cable and then figure out how to get the laptop to send the signal to the TV. It is usually one of the function keys along the top of the keyboard but it might also require the use of the Ctrl key as well. There may be an indescipherable hieroglyph on the relevant key. You might also need to set your browser to full screen mode which is usually function key F11.

We have a frost this morning, blue sky, sun is shining. Was 2° when I looked outside an hour ago.
I couldn't get on with Guilt, only saw the first episode. Finished watching Gold Digger, which we both enjoyed, last night on iPlayer.
