  • Thanks all.  @Obelixx - I'm happy with my own company, and the cat is very keen to help with anything I'm doing!  @Busy-Lizzie - thanks for your kind wishes.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

@Obelixx, no you can’t catch them like that.  You could a dog but never a cat.
they have to come to you. They’re also terrible vicious if you touch them before they’re ready.
Dove, it’s not so much taking on the kittens, it’s the fact that they are ready at 6 months but not really mature enough to cope, would be like a girl of eleven getting pregnant.

    Good morning all  :) ☕️
It’s dawning dry-ish and overcast. Hope all of you in the wet and windy south and west have your hatches well battened down. Looks like we’ve got some strong winds coming our way too. Keep your heads down and stay warm and dry folks 😊
Apparently there’s something to watch on the telly at 9 am 🏉 😉

I suspect there will be some people who aren’t interested in the rugby ... Good morning to all of them too 🤗

Morning all/afties Pat if you pop in.
Hope @raisingirl, @Hostafan1 and @Lyn are all ok, and the Welsh Wales peeps @AuntyRach and @wild edgesare too. I expect @Liriodendron will be getting a roughish day too. A day for indoor tasks I'd reckon...
Rain has stopped here at last - it really never stopped yesterday. I have to go out and take youngest to work in a while, and then will see if I can do anything before the next lot of rain appears.
I've been awake since 4 am so I may be a bit weary later... :/

It sounds like a day for staying indoors and eating toast and honey 🍞 🍯
or marmite if you prefer 😊

Got plenty of goosegog and elderflower jam @Fairygirl ... I could lob a jar over?  I’ve also suggested to OH that when he goes for his bike ride he might want to bring some crumpets back 🤤
