@Dovefromabove Have you tried opening the forum on a different browser on your iPhone?.. ...if that's possible. I had that problem on an old tablet I had.Â
Thanks ... I can only use Safari on the iPhone ... son who uses iPhones says he thinks clearing the Cookies will sort it out but that I should check with Wonky's Lovely Hub first as he's an IT tech.   The kitchen smells good ... I've just taken some wholemeal soda bread out of the oven to go with the bacon and pea soup that's simmering in the crockpot.
Apologies to anyone who finds the pic is too big ... I'm still getting to grips with this new laptop ... it's Windows 10 and I'm used to W7 ...Â

That bread is a thing of beauty @Dovefromabove. I don’t think I could wait until supper to try it - warm, fresh bread with butter = winning at life. Now that’s good food.Â
What fun - we've trying to set up our new landline phones today. That meant clearing two big bookshelves in the living room because of course the phone socket is behind them! My fault, I had to decide where all the sockets went before we moved in so just had double sockets put on each wall. Big mistake, hardly any of them are where we need them now. The new phone has nuisance call blocking which we've not had before so that means we have to input all our contacts . I think that's going to take hours.
I have to admit, I'm not really interested in food, so long as I'm not hungry I don't really care what I eat, so it's a good job I don't live on my own. I prefer plain easy British food so I guess I'm dead boring!
It pays to make a hole with a jigsaw in the back of big units for sockets @Lizzie27. Different if it's an expensive/valuable piece of furniture or something though. I don't have many heirlooms though We had a lovely crescent moon earlier. It was somewhat tainted by the migraine inducing, brilliant blue flashing lights a neighbour has on his roof - just below it I've barely had the heating off today. Not been above zero today, but everything is very sparkly. Nice and crunchy underfoot when I was out this morning, which always makes a pleasant change from trenchfoot.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Good. Turns out we have a foodie cat too.  While clearing the kitchen floor to wash it the other day she climbed up on the up-turned chairs and helped herself to some lemon grass.Â
Today I caught her leaning across the back of a chair - back on the floor - to chew some more lemon grass.
And here's the spelt bread made with the poolish the other day. Â
Definitely a winner when there's fresh yeast available but I do also love to make soda bread for soups.

Grey but dry but a decidedly nippy Easterly wind.
