I would guess that it means that you can screencast* to that laptop from another device as long as you allow it.
If you've screencast'd to a Smart TV, then it's the same concept - ie the casting device is paired with the receiving device - and you 'allow' or 'deny' that connection.

    * For screencast read miracast or similar protocols.

Try Googling ... how to screencast to windows 10

Casting from one device to another will not affect any other devices.

Also Google ... what is casting on phones
..if you're unsure as to what casting is.

It's quite handy if you want to show people photos or videos that you have on a device with a smaller screen. So you can cast from a phone to Smart TV or PC (if enabled) or.... as long as all the devices support the same casting protocols.

    Morning all.
Hosta Hugs to you @chicky. I was thinking of you last night when we watched the programme about Elton John. They showed a clip of his famous duet with George Michael and I remember you saying you were there .

I've recorded that @Hostafan1 as I had to go out. That was a memorable performance. I don't remember chicky saying she'd been there. Lucky girl  :)

@Fairygirl, I'm sure she mentioned it when George Michael died.
I might well be wrong, as is so often the case.

I think I said here that I'd watched the Freddie concert again last weekend [28th anniversary of his death] and George's performance was easily the standout one. I think that was the general consensus anyway.

I'm sorry to hear your news about your Dad @chicky, I hope treatment goes well.

    Morning all.

Was tipping with rain when I woke up but now it's sunny.

Hoping to finish my photo album today, takes so long downloading the photos (or is it uploading?). There is a new special offer on albums for Black Friday so I want to order another one, up to 70% off. You buy credit in advance but I don't want to be doing two at once or I'll get muddled.

    Morning all.
Keep as positive as you can Chicky, but I know that is exhausting.

Lovely sun sun this morning. I’m off to do some shopping soon - clothes for me and a leaving pressie for a colleague. Have a decent day all.

Thanks @steveTu, I'm afraid I'm none the wiser but will google for an idiot's guide!  Thanks for your input anyway.
