Very good for the diet indeed @punkdoc, but remember - liquids shouldn't just be of an alcofrolic variety....
Pureed apples? You'll need to stock up on the baby food instead   ;)
Glad you have someone to sort out the gutters, although I have no idea what a 'valley' gutter is?
I heard that on the  news about the 19yr old. It's a well known fact that 'standard' arsonists frequently return to the scene of the crime, and that's how they're often caught, so I expect volunteering gives them an even bigger thrill.  :/  I've never understood it, and never will.
Lots of lovely little cobwebs in the hedges when I was out - all fog laden. Very pretty.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

A piece of valley guttering. Sadly nothing like ours looks, at the moment. Need to replace lower layer of stones on both sides and replace the gutter itself.

You're wrong about the bush fires.

    I. Folau is a wonderful rugby player, but a truly horrible human being. I hope he gets his comeuppance.

I'd say the same about most religious fundamentalists, "truly horrible human beings"

Yay!  Our broadband has been restored to its usual stable self and after quite some time of sharing OH’s laptop I’ve been able to order a new laptop in a good deal ... we should pick it up from John Lewis tomorrow when apparently they can do the setup for me 😊

Yes - I've heard enough about that bloke's 'beliefs' to last me a lifetime...and then some  :/
Thanks for the pic @punkdoc. I've probably seen them but not been aware of the name.

I just remembered someone who was on the radio last week who worked for [presumably] John Lewis. He was on a 6 month paid break, and said all long term employees got it. He was about to move south, so I'm guessing that was the reason for the timing. Do you get the same perk @Hostafan1, or is it just the parent company?
