HRH Charlie was visiting Ambrosia a while back and they'd run out of Organic custard so they sent someone to us to buy some tins to take back to the factory .
Better with the Waitrose label than the tesco ones.Â

Everything is better with a Waitrose label than a tesco label.
Evening folks. Hope everyone has had a reasonable day. Is that apart from the person who got a Waitrose delivery recently but the roasted veg had an Aldi label on it @Hostafan1? Ambrosia custard Ambrosia rice pudding Both are like tipping a bag of sugar down your throat. My dad used to love the rice pudding. I could never understand itÂ

Hello @Fairygirl 😊 ... it’s been a productive day ... a bit of potting on, some paperwork and a few other bits and bobs done and I think I’ve identified a new laptop with the help of Wonky’s Lovely Hub... now we’re collapsed on the sofa full of beef stew and purple sprouting 🥦😋Â
The knitting is on my lap ...

I've had a rather unproductive day @Dovefromabove, apart from getting a walk in before the rain, some sewing, some paperwork with daughter, and taking the mick out of a man called Peter, who told me I was getting 4 grand as compensation due to my car accident. He ended up complaining that I had been wasting his time. Can't imagine why...

Never had either. Rice pudding was always home-made and not a favourite as my dad smothered it with nutmeg.  I have since made and enjoyed it with vanilla or cardamom or a bay leaf but OH isn't a fan and I can live without it.  Custard was always Bird's growing up but I ddn't like it and now I either make or buy proper custard.
Admin day with important emails to file and send. OH played golf so I took advantage of the peace.  Supposed to have serious amounts of rain tonight.
Hope everyone's warm and dry except @Pat E who needs cool and wet.
The Ambrosia factory is the only place here for work. Apart from the spar shop. it employs lots of people, is open 24/7. Â It was started by a small family who wanted to send food to troops in WW1. Over 100 years and still going.Â

On a train on my way home. Great talk and lots of inspiration for areas of my garden next year 😀😀😀
Was very excited earlier to see an Instagram picture from a visitor to the garden I volunteer at, showing the area I cleared of leaves last week.  It looked immaculate.....I was so proud.  They must have visited the very next day, as there were plenty more leaves still on the trees to replenish the ones we cleared 🤫
I've also been clearing leaves, off my Shady Bed and I was very pleased to find two or three hellebore niger flowers coming through. With a bit of luck they might still be around for Xmas. Also found some bulb shoots poking through. Not so pleased with the new besom broom I bought Sunday but it might work better with dry leaves I assume. OH and our o/n visitor very pleased with the apple cake I made earlier.
