Really sorry for Gary R's wife and family. He was young yet. T'other pair had a good innings but it's still a surprise.
Still very wet and windy here so I have spent some time researching car models. really hard to find an automatic here for some reason and I need one cos when my back is being stupid I can't depress a clutch properly. OH is back to the idea of leasing which I hate. Expensive way of going on.
Then got on with sewing my new jacket after starting off some bread using fresh yeast. A first for me. Need your help with that on the recipes thread please @Dovefromabove.
Hake for dinner. Lovely fish. One the Spanish didn't get!

A pang of sadness here too @AuntyRach. I still remember clearly where I was when I heard he'd died. I was driving, so it wasn't ideal. Nice to be reminded of George's brilliant performance too, although I was laughing watching Slash, and wondering how he ever managed not to set his hair alight with his fag end Pork bolognese for us. It's pretty good really. I'm fed up with food though. Could happily live on soup and the odd bit of chicken
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Good news is that Moira is home and working at home the next 2 days, so can take me to get my pathology results, discuss further treatment options. Loved the Clive James interview on BBC2. He was hilarious as always, erudite and just a joy to listen to.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
It was good wasn't it? We get pathology results by mail and a copy goes to the GP and any specialist via email. All joined up. Hope your results are OK.
@Fairygirl - we usually have soup at lunchtime in the cooler months. Leek and potato today. Tomato, orange and ginger yesterday.

Just heard about all the R.I.P s today. I still have a pang of sadness for Freddie each year too.

Hosta Hugs to you both @punkdoc
Weve looked at some Cornish beach webcams this morning ... it does look to be a beautiful morning down there in the southwest @Hostafan1🌅
A bit different to here where it’s grey and wet with a blustery wind.
