Sorry to hear your news @chicky. Hope you don't mind, but I have some rather good news. Just back from the hospital and the lump on my tongue is not cancer. Needless to say, with my weird medical history, they are not quite sure what it is, need to send some samples to other places, but basically very very good news. I shall be celebrating with a good bottle of red, possibly not waiting till this evening.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Nice, I have some in stock and some Sassicaia for good measure although at £90 a bottle for Tignanello we now buy the second wines from these estates. We used to buy Tignanello for £14 a bottle
Great stuff @punkdoc. I shall join you - but I'll just raise my mug of tea instead Gorgeous out there today. Nice crisp conditions. It was nice to walk on the farm tracks again without needing the boots for waterproof purposes. Didn't see Mr Buzzard today. The rooks were mobbing him yesterday round the farm. We do have a lot of rooks round here. I quite like seeing them - poking their big grey rooky bills into the ground, or sitting in the bare trees looking like the vultures/Beatles in The Jungle Book. Is that weird?Â
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
That's great news @punkdoc, I'll join you with a glass of red but it will be cheap plonk this evening with our burgers. The French do good burgers, 5% fat minced fresh beef, no additives.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
