Evening folks. Sorry you have your lurgy back @Obelixx. Oldest fairylet is the same, although she likes to milk it a bit  ;)
Re the hill rescue - I don't think people realise it's winter conditions now on Munros. She's bl***y lucky the kid was more able, and prepared, than the husband  :/
Smirry stuff this morning gave way to a downpour,  then cleared up. We didnt get @steephill's thunder though. Chilly now and clear skies. Frost for tonight apparently. Heating is on  ;)
Nice that people were pleased to see you @Hostafan1 :)
Our heating/thermostat is set at about 13 for overnight, especially when we are only putting it on now and again manually. Even then it often comes on. I've had it on the auto settings for the last couple of weeks, albeit rejigged as I don't have to get up for work. I put it on manually for a while when it's needed.
Not really cold enough yet to leave the heating on overnight. I'd suggest the tog on your duvet is too low ? Maybe it's a summer one

    Afternoon all.
Back from deliveries early so had a stint on the tills. Nice to see some familiar faces and even nicer to be told that I've been missed. Bless'em.
It's good that people obviously think a lot about you. Your very much loved ☺

What are you cooking up, Punkdoc?

After our rotten hot day yesterday, we’ve got an anarctic blast coming up bringing rain, hail and snow. 🤬 I can’t get my clothes organised!

Has anyone heard from Liri or LilyP?  I’m wondering how they are.
Off to town soon for some shopping.

Before I forget, this is the last weekend that people will be allowed to climb the rock. The aboriginal owners have decided that the site is too sacred for people to be clambering all over it, so Chicklet is lucky to get a chance at this time.

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Gday @Pat E  😊 ☕️  Sounds like you still need your winter woollies!
still no news from @Lily Pilly ... hadn’t she got a holiday planned and was hoping she’d be well enough to go ... not sure when that was exactly tho

As for @Liriodendron ... she last posted on 5th ... and was hoping to be getting in with all the jobs for the house move .... hopefully that’s what she’s doing. 👍

    Morning Dove. Crazy weather here.
Thanks for follow up info about Liri and LilyP. I couldn’t remember.
We had a fun time this afternoon. Coming home from shopping in town, there was a dog standing in the middle of the road looking very confused. We persuaded her to get in the car, went back to the blackboard on the edge of the village, put a note up to say we had a lost dog. Hubby put a note on the village face page. Meanwhile, she made herself comfortable beside me on the lounge. Some time later one of our neighbours came to collect his working dogs. (He runs sheep).  He was amazed to see her settled on the lounge with me. She’s never inside at home. 😂😂 She was very affectionate.

Oh @Pat E what a lovely photo 💕  The dog looks very much at home ... certainly seems to know what a sofa is for 🛋 😆

Morning all/afties Pat. That's a lovely pic. Hope she wasn't taking up all the room! There was an item on the news this morning about Uluru. Some beautiful scenery.
Another wee frost here, but the cloud is already working in and bringing a beautiful pink sky with it.
I think Liri will definitely be busy with the house. LP hasn't been on for a while, but she was going away, so fingers crossed she's ok.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi Fairy. Our farmer neighbour was amazed to see her laying so comfortably with me. He reckons she’ll be hard to keep out of the house now. 😄😄😄
