My apple tree is an unknown variety, as we inherited it with the garden. It must be over 50 years old, probably older.  It might be Bramley but not many get to a massive size. I am just happy to have them, as the tree is old and is the focal-point of my garden.

I quite like the nut milks on cereals. I love a coconut milk coffee but the milk you buy in SMs doesn’t seem to work. I asked in a coffee shop once, and they use ‘caterers coconut milk’ but no idea what the difference is.

I wonder what the difference is too @AuntyRach. Daughter only has coffee when out, but she did like a bit of hot chocolate now and again. Nice to have the apple tree in the plot  :)
Thanks @Obelixx. She's quite accepting of her problems which is probably just as well. I don't eat many burgers, and I got some turkey ones which I really liked, but she wasn't so keen. The only thing I'll eat from Mickey D's is the ice cream  ;)
I like venison but the girls don't, which is a pity. A venison casserole is a real delight. The b***ers aren't much good for anything else but eating anyway  :D
Wee walk was pleasant, and it's reached double figs and is dry, so I'll get outdoors once I've had lunch.

Have you got your line sorted @raisingirl?
Not yet. Notices have gone up at the end of the lane for a road closure next week, so they can replace some of the cable. We'll see.

OH swapped to goat milk and goat yoghurt a couple of years ago, which suits him much better than cow juice. It's really nice - hardly goaty at all. I still have cow's milk - it's cheaper and I can get it plastic free from the local shop.

Happy anniversary Pat and Mr Pat  :)

The new yoghurt maker has worked beautifully. It’s straining in the fridge. In the morning we’ll have a big jar of lovely Greek-style yoghurt. 😋

Thanks everyone for your congrats. Amazing how the years go.  We are giving ourselves a treat with lobster for dinner tonight. Can’t wait.

It was minus 2.5 this morning, I’m informed. This is after having very warm days the last couple of weeks - up to 27 recently. I suppose we can wave goodbye to any fruit again this summer since the fruit trees had finished flowering and, I assume, we’re starting to make babies. 😡🤬    we’ve not had apples for a few years now because of these late frosts.
