Morning all/afties Pat if you're there.
Frost here  @chicky. White and sparkly, and a nice day to come. Heating is on  ;)
I know exactly what you mean about the people in the offices @raisingirl, and it's sad when you hear that stuff because it then affects donations. My BIL has always been a big supporter [being a diver] and my fear of the sea means I have the utmost respect and admiration for the people at the sharp end. It was lovely to hear @Busy-Lizzie's story. Very moving.

In happier news, I have been invited for a “taster” day next week to see if I would enjoy being a volunteer at West Dean gardens.  Ridiculously excited at the prospect 😀😀😀
Are Jim and Sarah still there? I was there about 25 years ago and Sarah gave me a cardoon for telling her why "Beaver tail glass" was curved. She hadn't known.  I remember the visit well and the transformation of the gardens between that visit and my second about 10 years later.

I hope it works out for you @chicky. Being ridiculously excited about something is what life is about  ;)

    Great @chicky enjoy 👍

OH is insisting that he can do the gardening jobs without my help ... or supervision 😯. I am to get ready for tennis 🎾

Nope @Hostafan1 ... he says he doesn’t need me to write things down ... he can remember what I’ve asked him to do ... and given that he knows the London Tube map off by heart and can memorize a whole weekly supermarket shop ... I believe him 😊

I'm off to hang washing out. My life is one long party  :D
Then a wlak and some bits and bobs. Catch you all later.
Stay warm, dry, as appropriate. Hope doc hasn't got any more leakage....

    Morning all.

Good luck, Chicky, I hope it’s all you wanted it to be.

Sunny today, 8* earlier when the forecast said 3. I will be gardening. Washing machine is on.
