Me too Dove, the way you put it! I'm having a piece of salmon tonight with veg.

I can't be bothered either @Lyn. Friday was World Pasta Day - apparently, so you're 4 days late  ;)
A chicken stroganoff type thing for me and youngest soon.
I now have to go and pick up a pull switch for the girls' shower as it's stuck at 'on'. I would rather rip my liver out with a rusty hook. At least we don't have to go on a motorway so she can drive for a bit of extra practice. Hopefully I can fit it without too much bother.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Butternut squash and chick pea tagine for us.   Homegrown squash and tomatoes.   Tomorrow will involve a beetroot soup and/or a beetroot curry as OH has picked them to clear space for mulching over winter.

We really like Nigella's recipe for lamb ribs but it's very naughty.   Pink leg of lamb for me or slow cooked shouder and we love a Barnsley chop with crisp y fat and pink meat.

Only ever do dauphinoise with our Xmas duck cos tat's too rich for every day especially with the stupid knee reducing calorie burning possibilities.

    Can't believe those ruddy MPs.

Just doing some pork and apple sausages and roasted root veg plus a big beef and veg stew (which will be divided to give some to my Dad). I class ‘not cooking’ as anything that requires close to zero effort and ‘cooking’ as anything involving chopping stuff up!
Didn’t have time (or enough eggs) to make a cake today so will do that another day.

Thank heavens for catchup.  Will be snuggling down for Autumn Watch live, and saving Bakeoff for when chicklet gets home from work at 9.  Not often I monopolise the TV * ....but this is my moment 😀😀😀

    * apart from every Friday evening March to October 😉

We’ll be watching Autumn watch ... I’ve not caught up with last weeks Bake-off yet 😉
