    Not sure I count as a lady @punkdoc ;)
You'll be needing an arc doc. Does the neighbour get flooded?
Wet here now too, but it's supposed to be half decent tomorrow. Gusty winds though.
Tucking up to stay warm now - Spiral at 9pm. Does anyone watch it? I love a good subtitled police dramaĀ  ;)

I can’t watch subtitled programmes, I have to be doing something else, knitting, typing couldn’t keep up with subtitles.

I use them most of the time @Lyn, if I'm honest. Sometimes people just speak too quickly for me to hear it properly. I've got used to them watching all the Scandinavian programmes - although Spiral is French.
    I'm very continentalĀ  :D

Just haven’t got into the Scandi-noir stuff ... we’ve only just got into Vera šŸ˜‰Ā
We record quite a bit of Radio 4 on the tv and listen to it when there’s not a lot of interest to us on the telly ... Counterpoint, Round Britain Quiz, Brain of Britain, Infjnite Monkey Cage ... that sort of stuff 😊

Just watched Rocketman, really enjoyed watching his relationship with Bernie Taupin, and I love the early songs. Your Song one of my faves.
Stream has flooded and bits of the garden are under water. The biggest problem is all the weed seeds left in the debris.
Neighbour gets it worse [ well he deserves it ] as the land drops away from us.

Rain stopped a few hours ago, so hopefully floods will recede.

Not a big Elton John myself mateĀ

I love Elton John’s music, especially when he is performing it. šŸ˜„

A lovely cloudless day here this morning, yesterday’s washing is almost dry (again), and the horrendous wind has disappeared.Ā

Must go for a walk to prepare myself for tomorrow’s treadmill test. I’m already getting nervous. 😬

We went for a walk down to one of our dams. Typically low water in this drought. Found a turtle shell, yabbie claw and an unidentified hoof shaped thing. Managed 3000 steps, some of which were up hill, so I was gasping by the time I got back. šŸ™„

Hello @Pat E 😊. Fascinating turtle shell. Please don’t be anxious about the ā€˜test’ Ā .... it’s not like a school exam and no one’s going to be cross with you if you don’t get it ā€˜right’. They’re just checking how well your heart/lungs are serving you ... same as when they listen to your heart/lungs with a stethoscope or take your blood pressure.Ā

Tell the medical staff your anxious about the treadmill thing and they’ll help and reassure you.Ā

And just remember, we’re coming with you ... pop a peppermint or a biscuit in your handbag or pocket and we’ll be fine in there šŸ˜‰ if you feel stressed just think of your Forker Friends in your handbag and it’ll make you smile 😃 ((hugs))

I love their early stuff too ... I guess that’s why they call it the blues is a favourite of mine. I enjoyed the reading of Elton’s autobiography the other week on Radio 4 😊
