Ours si still growing peppers and chilies and oca but we have now freed up one side for the first of the tender stuff - citrus, fuchsias, hostas still in plastic pots when it starts to get cold at night.  Still in 2 figures so far but expected to dip a bit below 10C from the 29th.

Might have to think about putting on the CH and maybe a duvet on the bed.

I spoke to a friend who lives in the next village along: he had frost on his car this morning. EEK!

    Heaven forfend @Hostafan1 ;)
I looked at my notebook yesterday I keep for the garden, and we've only had 5 nights in the last month where it hasn't been single figures, and many of them were only just into double. Lots of below five single figs too, plus the frosts.

Polytunnel looks good - when are you having the sale? ;)

I'm fed and watered so I'm off to see if I can do anything outdoors. The washing is firmly attached, so I hope I don't need to chase daughter's smalls along the road later.
Keep up the good work everyone  ;)

Crikey @Obelixx, haven't you got heating on yet? I put a warmer duvet on today, still had the summer one, though here in high summer we just have the cover, no duvet in it.

I've had a very quiet day, sorting photos for another album to order online and catching up on recorded TV. Just finished watching "Deep Water".

Hosta's polytunnel is looking good. Have to admit I no longer have tender plants to keep over winter, too much hassle. Not even keeping the pelargoniums this year.

Hello all ... we’re home after a lovely day with friend, a very good lunch, a dawdle through glorious autumnal Suffolk ... the fungi were amazing ... and the on your Wonky’s place; firstly for a garden inspection then a big Chinese takeaway for the whole family as my son was there too for a while. OH went to Lidl’s with Wonky for soy sauce and came back with a rather fine cactus (as well as the soy sauce).
Now I’m tucked up in bed after a lovely lovely day.
    Sweet dreams all 🛌

Wakey wakey, rise and shine 😀😀😀

Early start for me as I am heading down South to take my Dad to a couple of hospital appointments, then dashing back for a leaving do in London this evening (I am not the only one leaving work at the moment......there is a wave of us going 🙄).

Laptop setting up went well, but then I spent ages trying to make everything look “right” ......I am a creature of habit and wanted all my tools to look the same as when I used them at work.  My new machine also has some nifty features, which I had to mine youtube to find out how to use (instruction manuals are soooo yesterday 🤯).  Ended up spending most of the day sat at a desk.

So to compensate I went out and joined a gym in the evening.  I will carry on with my regular Pilates (been going for years and I like all the people) but will add in some classes, cycling in the gym and swimming to keep me busy now that its too cold, dark and wet on the roads for a real bike.

I’ve read ”Then She was Gone” Lizzie.......enjoyed it, if a bit disturbing 🥴

Great news for grandson Pat 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻  Hopefully that gets him on his way.  Littlest Chicklet has said things are hotting up - she’s heading for Uluru this weekend .....where I don’t think its ever cooled down 🥵
