I’ve explained to OH that going to get the paint takes us past a Morrison’s ... we could pop in there for weekend supplies ... just for a change šŸ˜‰Ā

Morning all/afties Pat if you're around.
Very damp here too, and single figs, after lots of rain last night. Not sure anything much will happen outside today.
Don't know if anyone is aware of Charles Jencks? Most will know about his late wife though - the 'Maggie' who inspired the hospices - many of which are stunningly beautiful.Ā  Ā He died at the weekend. The cosmic garden is quite peculiar, but strangely beautiful. I visisted it many years ago. There was a nice wee item yesterday in the news yesterdayĀ

Thank for that link @Fairygirl ... I was aware of his work, but not that he’d died. Maggie’s Gardens are wonderful.Ā

    Indeed @Fairygirl šŸ’•Ā

    Another change of plan
... OHs asst manager is off with D&V .... there’s obviously a lot of it about ... his other colleagues are not answering their phones šŸ™„ He’s going cover
the 11-6 shift ... hopefully he can have tomorrow off. I’m going to steer clear
of Morrison’s if there’s a bug about ... more folk there with school aged children ... I’ll go to W’rose as usual ... less chance of contamination šŸ˜‰ The paint will have to wait ...Ā

Thanks @Fairygirl.Ā  Some beautiful buildings and gardens.

Torrid night here.Ā  I semm to be developing a cold - not used to those any more - and to add to the fun of the headache, sore throat and achy bits my knee took up a throbbing rhythm.Ā  We are not going for early morning flu jabs this morning.

Lovely day tho so maybe some therapeutic planting after the weekly shop.

    Well done your team @AuntyRach.

    Hope you haven't succumbed to a lurgy @Obelixx :/
Glad you enjoyed that link. It seems to have escaped the general news, although I may have missed it as I don't always see it. I seem to have repeated myself in that post tooĀ  :D
Lovely for you and your team @AuntyRach. I missed your post about it. Do they all have to take turns keeping it?Ā
Keep that bug to yourselves down there @Dovefromabove. Me no want.Ā  :o
I'm almost frightened to say there's some very faint watery sun around. Might get summat done out there after all. Been clearing a little space for my new compost bins. I threw caution to the winds and bought two. I will party accordingly later on...

    Morning all.Ā
Re the BAFTA - the production company earned it and Ā ā€˜own’ it, but as the documentary was about our work they let us share in the success. A few staff went to the ceremony too.Ā

Having a a lazy day off here so far - hope everyone is doing ok.Ā

    Morning all.
I hope it's only a mild cold if it develops, @Obelixx

I'm going out to get fruit, veg and milk for daughter's visit.
Then HW, house needs vacuuming and beds need making.
Woke up too early, went back to sleep and woke up too late so off to a very late start.
