Today is the first day of the rest of my life 😄😀😀. And I am spending it on a taster day volunteering in a local (ish) garden.......forecast is awful, so waterproofs are packed, along with a spare set of clothes. Really excited 😜
Good morning all ☕️ How exciting @chicky ... have a great day 😊 Its wet here ... I was woken around 4:30 by a loud bang somewhere ... a car door slamming probably ... it’s usually very quiet here so that sort of sound at night is unusual. I had a warm drink and got back to sleep ... hope other night-wakers got back to sleep too 😊

Morning all/afties Pat if you're around @Yviestevie what a horrible day for you. Hope you can take it easy today. That phrase about a postcode lottery was never more apt I'm almost frightened to say it isn't raining here. Yesterday was pretty dire. Howfing down all day apart from a couple of hours in the morning. It's already warmer - double figures. All very exciting @chicky . Fairylet is making brownies later. I'll try and keep you one
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Sunny here now after a romantic, atmospheric, misty start this morning. We have been to do the weekly raid on ths SM. OH put 3 tubs of ice cream in the trolley - he's the only one who eats it regularly - so I asked if he had enough. "Are you being sarcastic?" Moi???
I hope you and your mum have reovered form yesterday's dreadful events @Yviestevie. The lack of respect and dignity and common sense is just staggering.
Hope you're having a great first day of freedom @Chicky, despite the weather.
I'm off down the to th epotager in a minnie to plant some brassicas and salads and then cover them against the cabbage whites. Want to clear some space in another bed for taking rose cuttings next week and sowing some Chinese and winter greens and sweet peas. Set to be dry till Sunday pm so planning to take advantage.

I am now freeeeeeee 🎉🎉🎉🎉. Found stepping out that door for the last time a bit trickier than I’d prepared myself for 😢.

Hello all.
Lovely sunny day here in Dordogne. OH has been mowing.
What a dreadful day @Yviestevie. I hope things are on the up today.
I hope @chicky is having a good day and not being rained on.
Wood man has cut more logs. I must go and stack them. Means loading into the trailer and taking them to the other side of the house.
