Morning ladies. Hosta Hugs to you all, but do you all mind if @Dordogne Damsel gets extras?? She's missed out.

    I don't mind at all @Hostafan1, but can I get a blanket instead? It's a bit chilly ;)

I had it on earlier. It's 6 degrees just now, but it's supposed to improve through the day.
Hope so - car going for it's first MOT, so I want to get out and get on at some point.

It’s ok @Hostafan1 it’s quite warm here cos the heating came in for a while earlier ... and we bought a lovely woven throw for the sofa while we were on holiday, so I’m cosy ... plus there’s a stack of ironing waiting for me on the landing 🙄

Good morning everyone.  Wet here and not as forecast but happy to see the rain.   Still warm enough at night - just - to have just the duvet cover and patchwork quilt on the bed.

Harry Zafira has been declared a write-off so we're waiting to see how much we get for him before deciding about a replacement but we have to drive to Nantes to empty out the rest of our stuff.  That'll be tomorrow between depositing Bonzo for his check-up X-ray at 9:30 and then fetching him around 4 as he'll need doping.

Indoors sort of day today then.   Hope everyone else is OK and neither too cold nor too wet - except @Pat E who I hope is warm and wet.    Good to see you poppping in @Dordogne Damsel, even if it's just 5 minutes while you stop for coffee.

Hope everyone is OK this morning.  @Dovefromabove just seen that some places in Norfolk are being evacuated due to flood alerts hope you are OK.  The Midlands is on flood alert too so hubby is out there moving the wood delivery into the woodshed before the rain starts, they were here bright and early.  I was delighted to get the call at 7.00 to say they were on their way NOT.  Off to get talons sorted in a minute, with a bit of luck hubby will have finished by the time I get back

It’s very high tides on the coast @Yviestevie ... not that unusual really as a lot of the land is low lying. Thankfully son is no longer in the houseboat ... the mooring is tidal and flood alerts meant moving his car to higher ground.

    Hi all.
Torrential rain again here [ must be because I lied when I was 17! ]
Stream has gone over again, but still a long way from back door, so fingers crossed.
How can you lie there and think of England
