Who do you think is going to win @chicky?
Steff all the way .....but I’m normally wrong about these things 🤔
I suspect you'll be right, but I adore David, lol . Strangely. If Stef cocks it up in the final and one of the other two excels, it could go any way.

    Morning all.
MOT day for my car today - I hope she does ok as she is in to her Autumn years now. I usually treat her to a wash before such examinations but it’s too cold this morning so hope she understands 🤞
Very much looking forward to Bake Off 🧁
    Brilliant mushroom pic!
    Have a good day all.

I'd go with her too - unless she has a meltdown. I'll enjoy it anyway  :)
    @Hostafan1 - I'd never have guessed  :D
Fingers crossed for the car @AuntyRach. I always dread the phone call....
Glad you're on the mend @Obelixx. I'll just have to console myself with cake.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Morning all.

Another vote for Steff here. @Obelixx said "I loathe Genoese sponge, fondant icing and garishly coloured food in equal measure."  I couldn't agree more.

Must get out and do some gardening while it's not raining, it rained again in the night and it's all pretty soggy. Going to sewing club with friend this afternoon.

    Morning all!
Chilly here too, but not as cold as the last couple of days - lovely and bright, but a day to be filled with boring jobs instead of country walks.  Ah well - needs must.

Gorgeous toadstool, @chicky.  Absolutely pristine...   :)  Thanks for the printing advice too.  And a wave back to @Fairygirl...  and Hi!  to everyone else.   :D

    Hi all
Sunny after another heavy frost, Canna and Dahlia lifting to continue, will take most of the next week.
Met an ex colleague yesterday. He is a Cypriot, who has been in this country since he went to university at 18, he is now 60. He has been told to apply to remain in the UK, and says b#####ks to that, I shall retire and return to Cyprus. It will be our loss.

    It’s a crying shame 😭

Is everyone aware of David Walliam’s and Matt Lucas’ special edition of Little Britain that’s being broadcast at 6:30 R4 this Thursday ... entitled Little Br###t   ?
