Thanks for posting those photos Punkdoc, I’ve only ever seen them in captivity there was a small wildlife park in Kent we used to visit often, they had a beautiful natural enclosed for them.Ā
Do you remember the name of it @Lyn ?
Modern wildlife parks have much more spacious enclosures for the animals than old fashioned zoos did.Ā

People are amazed at the space the animals have at Whipsnade, when I’ve suggested that they visit. @philippa smith2 knows it well 😊

Thanks @punkdoc Ā There was a programme a while ago with that South African chap trying to invent a honey badger proof beehive.Ā  Utter failure.Ā  I think it was that same honey badger who is also the escapologist.Ā  Clever beast but not one you'd want to upset.

Can you ease off the outside knob and use pliers to turn the inner knob @Dovefromabove ?Ā  I used to have to do that with a Paul Bocuse oven I had years ago.Ā  Darned grill got so hot it melted the plastic knob innards.Ā  Took me ages to find replacements so kept pliers handy.

It’s a knob that retracts into the fascia ... it’s almost pushed right in but not quite ... I think the fascia has to come off šŸ™„Ā

    Afternoon you chatty lot.
Just returned from a busy SM shop. The wet roads and slippy leaves are zero fun - can’t compete with punkdoc’s knee-high water though! Hope your wife didn’t have posh shoes on?Ā
Apparently the SM was empty this morning - rugby effect?? Or maybe people were hoping that it would stop raining? Going to settle in for the day now. Might do a cake. What a hassle re your oven Dove - hope you can get that fixed asap.Ā
Extra hour in bed tonight will come in handy for getting up to watch the rugby šŸ“󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳ó æĀ

It’s was back in the 70’s when we lived there but it was either Port Lympne or Howletts.Ā
We used to take the kids and half the village out there regularly. That was in the days when you could pile as many kids as you could into a car.šŸ˜€

Hope NextDoor comes up trumps Dove - we use it all the time round here - really handy way of finding out local stuff.Ā  Its how I found my book club and the local history talks.Ā  And great for personal recommendations of tradesmen.

Mr C was a bit overwhelmed by the Rugby too :'( …… the boys done goodĀ :D
