Good to see you back in then @Pat E.  How are you both?

Maybe wear a support for things like bus trips where you know the knee may give way @Dovefromabove.  Major milestone for Bonzo this morning with his repaired cruciate and knee - he managed to scratch his own ear just now.  Maybe a vet could fix yours?

We have had rain in the night too but nothing measurable due now till Thursday.  I might just start planting some spring bulbs in the rose and clems bed.

TGIF for all who have to work today.  Hope everyone gets some gardening or other fun today.

I’ve got a really heavy duty knee support @Obelixx ... it helps in that its presence reminds me to move carefully ... however the orthopedic specialists acknowledge that the only thing that will hold the knee in place is a metal cage type of support which can be seriously uncomfortable to wear.

They hope that (“at your age”) doing the exercises and “being aware of how you move” will do the job ... I find that using a stick when on uneven ground is very helpful ... no only does it make me very aware of how I move but it also encourages people around me to give me time and space to move. I also use it when going to the theatre etc as folk give me time and space on stairs etc. It does mean however that I’m loath to go to London etc on my own nowadays as a mishap on the Tube escalators could mean real problems getting home. 🙄

Morning all. At last, I feel like I’m back in touch.

I sat through 4 episodes of Masterchef finals with the dedicated Hubby last night. I’ve decided that I can’t bear to watch the show any more. It’s the music overlaying every spoken word that is driving me to distraction. I do love Marcus and can tolerate the updated Monica, but that’s it. I’m going to bed for the final episodes. I’ve got my favourite winner anyway. 😏

Sorry Obelixx. Didn’t mean to ignore you. We are moving along ok at the moment. More appointments in the next couple of weeks.

Good @Pat E.   I am loath to go to London too @Dovefromabove but that's beacuase the minute I get into the Underground I feel filthy and it's no better above ground these days.  Last time we went it was for the Chelsea Flower Show in 2016 when I dragged OH along for his first and probably last time.  Then we headed out east for Hyde Hall and Beth Chatto and Constable country.  Much better.  Big skies and clean air.

I love going to London for the galleries and restaurants and meeting up with friends ... but I’m always glad to get home again 😊
