'he came and went carrying stuff into the warehouse.'

He must have been very well trained @Dovefromabove... :D

Good stuff @Hostafan1. You'll be weary.
@chicky- you're just getting old - catching the rest of us now  ;)

    He's very cute, Dove.

I found some energy eventually and cleaned the kitchen and cooker then mowed the wet lawns. Didn't rain today so I had to snatch the chance as more rain is forecast.

All this talk of cooking wonderfull things is a bit much after my breakfast of Pane bread with goats cheese. 🤪
I need to stir myself to hang the washing out. It’s very warm - nearly 30 as predicted, but at least it’s not windy this time. my back is still giving me trouble after last Saturday’s clothes line fight with very high winds. Can’t think when we last had decent rain. There is a prediction for some on Sunday though.😃
I was exhausted after my Canberra Dr visit on Monday, so haven’t caught up with you all until now. Best wishes to those struggling with health and weather probs.

Phew! It’s hot out there! First load on the line. I’m glad to be inside again.

Hubby is driving around from one water tank to another. The roof gutterings on sheds and house have filled the lower tanks over winter and the rain water now needs to be transferred to the tanks on the hill above the house so that we can gravity feed instead of turning the electric pump on.

He’s also giving the lavender and fruit trees a drink. I just know this drought will have spoiled any harvesting I’d planned. I usually harvest the lavender at the end of January, but I don’t expect much.

On of my long forgotten Irises has suddenly given me a flower. Yeah! The small pink flowers are from a Grevillea whose label claimed is endangered, but there are young self-seeded plants appearing everywhere. Maybe they like drought conditions.

I'll have any spare heat you've got @Pat E and you can have our spare rain.

    Good morning all and
    hello @Pat E 😊 ☕️

A bright morning here ... a hint of frost on the cars ... the trees and shrubs in the gardens across the rise are glowing golden in the sun 🍂 ☀️

Good morning everyone.  Grey again here but not misty like yesterday and we've had rain overnight.   Forecast is dry today but wet for the next 3.

That's fine as we have to do our SM raid today as they're all closed tomorrow for Toussaint.  I have beetroot to process - soup, curry - and plenty more to keep me busy indoors if the promised rain actually arrives.

Hope you get some soon @Pat E and not just a dribble.   Lovely iris.

Morning all/afties Pat - the heat has presumably persuaded the plants. Nice to get if the Grevillea was endangered - you could make some money with those seedlings too ;)

Another cheeky wee frost here - minus 2 the noo

I have cake - specially made for Hallowe'en [not by me] so feel free to have some with a cuppa. Not the best photo unfortunately, so apologies for that. Tasted good though  :)
