    Dem's purrty @chicky. Nice strong colours  :)
I might treat myself to some little reticulatas next year. Haven't had them for a few years. I like the really dark ones - Pauline is good, and J.S.Dijt.

I hope to get my tulips planted in pots tomorrow - too busy with family this morning  and now too tired this afternoon. The sunshine's lovely through the window.

    Pauline is a delight @chicky :)
I had a Joni CD on while outside - a fave album of mine  which features you [almost- as it's spelt differently ;) ]  on the opening track  #Sometimes Chickie had the car, Or Ron had a car, Or Lead Foot Melvin with his hot wire head...
    Always makes me smile  :)

I told Joni she could only sing about me if she changed the spelling to protect my anonymity 😇😎😉

If it's good enough for New York @chicky ;)

I'm sure Joni was thinking of you  :)

Afternoon all. Not looking forward to the short evening light from now in.
Disappointing rugby result this morning 😪 - oh well, Six Nations is not too far away 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Just rearranged some furniture now Summer is officially over. Swapped out an armchair for a second small sofa into ‘breakfast room’ so it will now be our hub and the main room to keep warm. We only really go in the lounge in the evening and if there is something we want to watch on the big tele. I’m hoping that the cats (or at least one of them) will settle down next to me, as the usual situation was one of them taking up the whole armchair and me sitting on the kitchen chair! (Yes they are spoiled and I am daft!).

Have a cosy evening all, particularly those who have been outside, at work or feeling under par (and everyone else anyway).

My garden and I live in South Wales.

Went to the Harvest Festival service this morning. Several French people came as they work for the charity we were giving the gifts to, tinned meals, nappies, shampoo, dried foods etc. I like the Harvest hymns, especially the one with the tune from Ode to Joy.

After the service there was a bring and share lunch at a friend's house. I'm always surprised at the variety of food, cold meat, salads, quiche, puddings etc, a good mixture.

Five minutes after I came home, planning to do some gardening, son 2 arrived with his 2 oldest sons, aged 4 and 5. Gardening was cancelled! When he left I had a long chat on the phone with OH who is still in Norfolk. I will be joining him on 5th November.

Now I'm going to light the woodburner and watch TV. It was dark so early, hate the clock change. It may be the last time in autumn for France.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
