Better stock up on the dog food @Pat E :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Not sure littlest Chicklet realised it was going to be so busy when she chose this weekend - pretty sure she has no interest in climbing it 🤪.  It is a very special place - I found it very moving

Great photo Pat - looks like he’s there for the duration 😴

Another dank and dreary day here .....must get out and pick the last of our apples 🍏  🍎

Dad was good yesterday - drains all now removed and apologies from the surgeon after our PALS complaint ....protocols were broken and investigations/follow ups are being made.  Thanks to you lovely people .....I’d never have known PALS existed otherwise.  Hope it will stop someone else receiving the same experience.

I hope their investigation is thorough @chicky. Glad Dad is doing well  :)
    Lovely pic too.
A fair old band of rain down your way. Have you got your snorkel looked out?

Good news @chicky ... best wishes to your Dad.

Glad PALS did their job ... it’s a good scheme and usually gets to the nub of the problem without a lot of waffle.  I sometimes think that their acronym can mislead people ... makes it sound a bit ‘tea and sympathy’ when you see it on the posters and leaflets whereas it can be quite hard hitting when it needs to be.

Think the southwest will need their sou’westers and galoshes today! ☔️

Brown bin's emptied so I think I can get some more of the conifer branches lopped and popped in. I should get a chipper - could have made good use of it this year.
We've had a rather sad looking wood pigeon in over the last few days. He doesn't look very able  :/
Nothing worse than a sad pigeon. Maybe a discontented jackdaw....
I used to love that bit of Little Britain. 'Margaret...Margaret....' I used to work with a Maggie, and we often used to do that routine. Simple pleasures  :)

We had one in our garden miserable as sin all fluffed up for a couple of days. The 3rd day when I opened the curtains he was sat on the conservatory roof nice and close and could see he had something stuck in his beak. He soon vanished

Wonky regularly rescues poorly pigeons in her garden ... some of them survive her ministrations and become like members of the family ... much to Flatters and Harrie’s annoyance 😂
