Sleep well, Pat. Glad you enjoyed the lobster and had a good anniversary.

Daughter 2 and children have just gone. I'm off to Daughter 1 tomorrow for 2 days.

As it's so wet and mild we went hunting for ceps in the woods, found 2 boxes full. Daughter 2's husband is a bit of an expert at cooking them. He's French and knows his mushrooms.

He might like that mushroom thread that was recently started @Busy-Lizzie. Some lovely photos on it. I know absolutely zero about them, but I enjoy seeing them.  :)
Been lovely today, even a reasonable temp when directly in the sun. I've been hacking branches off the big conifer to raise the crown, and recycling some. Gradually getting the wee area behind the shed into a more usable space.
I planted some species crocus recently and they've been sprouting and giving a display already, which I wasn't expecting. I posted this on another thread - a little visitor enjoying the flower and the sunny day

I expect @AuntyRach enjoyed the result in the rugby  :)

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
🤨 our forecast of dry weather seems to have changed 🌧 Looks like rain on and off most of the day. I’m glad I got the broad beans in on Saturday 😊

Morning Dove, and those to come/afties Pat if you've recovered from your big dinner  ;)
Quite frosty here, but I think your wet stuff is to clear away @Dovefromabove, if the forescast is correct. Maybe not much use for anything meaningful outside though.
I'll need to top up the fatballs...

We just heard that it’s been chilly up near you @Fairygirl 🥶

We’ve got a week with nothing planned ... even tennis is cancelled cos the hall is booked for Blood Donors. OH has some free time ... we might plan an expedition .....

If they sat still we could probably manage to play around them ... 🛏 🎾

Morning all. Damp here but forecast to clear later.

Sounds like a good excuse for an excursion Dove.

It is cool and wet here but more of a low mist/heavy drizzle wet air day than rain.  No matter.  I have patch this afternoon and a problem to resolve.  Our member with seniity/Alzheimer's problems has taken to calling me to make sure she has a lift so we need to formalise that arrangement now and on Saturday she called to say she fancied going for a walk and was I free to accompany her.  I live 45 mins away so no, not really.  I think she forgets to eat too as she's lost a lot of weight.  Maybe time to call in some help.

Tomorrow looks good for sowing my broad beans.

Hope everyone's had a good weekend.   Enjoy your first full week of freedom at home @Chicky.
